Oat Walnut Balls

Ingredients:

4 cups water

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup chopped sunflower seeds

½ cup Braggs amino acid or soy sauce

2 Tbsp olive oil (optional)

¼ cup nutritional yeast flakes

1 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp onion powder

2 cloves garlic, mashed and diced

1 medium onion, chopped

1 Tbsp dried basil

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp sage

4 cups rolled oats

Preparation:

  • 1. Pour water in pot.
  • 2. Add all ingredients except rolled oats. Bring to a boil.
  • 3. Stir in rolled oats and cover.
  • 4. Remove from heat, cover, and set aside.
  • 5. When mixture is cooled, form 3-inch patties 1 ½ inch thick (form into balls).
  • 6. Place on oiled baking sheet and bake on each side for 15 minutes at 350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 7. Enjoy with your own sauce.Can be served with spaghetti.
