Ingredients:
- 4 cups of water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil (optional)
- 1 cup ground pecans or regular nuts
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 4 cups quick oats (use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version)
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
- In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil and add the soy sauce and olive oil.
- Add the dry ingredients and stir until thickened; cook for 3 minutes.
- Form the patties on a non-stick baking sheet or parchment paper.
- Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 15 minutes on one side.
- Flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
