Delicious Oat Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (optional)
  • 1 cup ground pecans or regular nuts
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 4 cups quick oats (use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version)

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
  3. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil and add the soy sauce and olive oil.
  4. Add the dry ingredients and stir until thickened; cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Form the patties on a non-stick baking sheet or parchment paper.
  6. Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 15 minutes on one side.
  7. Flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!
