Apple Spiced Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ tsp salt, or to taste
  • ½ tsp apple pie spice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ apple, cored
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder, aluminum free
  • ½ tsp salt

Preparation:

  • 1. Heat griddle on medium high heat for cooking pancakes.
  • 2. In a medium bowl mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3. In a blender add the 1st nine ingredients and blend on high until smooth. Pour the ingredients from the blender into the flour mixture and whisk until all ingredients are combined.
  • 4. If mixture seems a little thick add a little more water.
  • 5. Ladle batter onto griddle and cook until bubbles appear on top of pancakes on bottom are golden brown.
    Flip pancake and cook until 2nd side is lightly golden.
  • 6. Serve with your favorite topping or keep warm until ready to eat.
